Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is also referred to as Antonietta Gonzalez-Collins in both the US and Mexico, is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She hosts SportsNation and is an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She started working at ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bi-lingual and has been for a long time, starting at when she was nine years old. Her ability in this area has helped her get her first job with Univision, Miami. She could work as a producer for national programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. In St. Petersburg, she was later employed as a reporter by the CBS station as an sports reporter. She moved in 2009 to Rio Grande Valley, Texas for work as an investigative reporter for the Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In 2009 she made the move to Rio Grande Valley, Texas in which she was a journalist for KNVO 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. She would also fill in on occasion as a weather and sport anchor. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's Dallas-affiliate station. She was also given more accountability. She wrote to The NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. Additionally, she was the producer of Univision 23's local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra on which she was anchor herself. She became a sports host for the morning program on Despierta America Deportes. The anchor also worked in similar roles on the magazine program of the network Primer Impacto and for UniMas Network's Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collins was born and raised in the city of Veracruz, Mexico. In Mexico City she was conceived on the 22nd November 1985. She also has an older sibling. Her family left in 1992 Mexico and relocated to Miami. Then, shortly afterward the family split up, and, in 1995 Fabio Fajardo was remarried. He passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. In the summer of the year 2006, Antonietta took one week with her sibling in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was working there. As a senior at high school, but having a clear vision of what she wanted to do in her future, Antonietta was able to visit at the University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her needs. The campus was beautiful as well as offered the level of education she sought. She finished school and enrolled at the university with a major in media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who also managed the WRMU's 91.1FM station where she worked for a number of years, was a friend. Mark's passion for journalism and confidence in her own abilities inspired her. In turn, she attempted to live up to the standards he set and to not fail him.
