Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She hosts SportsNation as well as a SportsCenter anchor. She began working for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been for a long time, starting at when she was nine years old. Her ability in this area helped her to get her first job at Univision, Miami. She worked alongside national producers on shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her next job was as reporter for sports at the CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. In 2009 she moved into Rio Grande Valley, Texas to become an anchor for the newscast of KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. Covering stories on immigration and drug-trafficking on both sides of the border, she worked as an anchor for five minutes of the p.m. Spanish newscast a anchor, reporter and later anchor for anchoring the 9 p.m. news in English, and an anchor for the news at 10:30 p.m. Spanish newscast. Also, she would fill in at times as a news and sports anchor. She was then anchor and reporter on Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. She was then given more responsibility. She produced pieces about Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS as well as the World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. In addition, she hosted on the regional Univision 23 sports show Accion Deportiva Extra. The show was commissioned as a sports anchor by Despierta America Deportes for their morning show. The anchor also worked in the same job for Primer Impacto on UniMas Network as well as Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta Collins was born and raised in Veracruz Mexico. In Mexico City she was conceived on November 22nd 1985. There is an older sister. There is an older sibling. In 1992, her parents separated soon after. In 1995, she was remarried Fabio Fajardo, an engineer in the naval sector who passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. On a family vacation in Ohio, younger Collins was able to take a job with her older sister. Antonietta was about to graduate from high school, but was already aware of her plans for what she would do. In the end she fell in love with the school. They also offered her a an academic major. She graduated from high school and began studying media at the University. Her relationship lasted for a while with her teacher Mark Bergmann who was the supervisor for WRMU 91.1 FM of which she was a part. It was he who inspired her confidence, and his passion in Journalism touched her deeply. In turn, she strived to fulfill his expectations always delivering on time.
